📦 Return & Exchange Policy – The Saree Shop

At The Saree Shop, we value your trust and satisfaction. Each Banarasi saree is handpicked and crafted with utmost care, but if for any reason you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, our hassle-free return and exchange policy is here to help.

✅ Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges

  • Products can be returned or exchanged within 7 days of delivery.
  • The saree must be unused, unwashed, and in original condition with tags and packaging intact.
  • Blouse pieces should not be cut, stitched, or altered.
  • Customized or made-to-order products are not eligible for returns.

🔄 How to Request a Return/Exchange

  1. Contact our support team at 📧 support@thesaree.shop or 📞 +91-9335274632 within 7 days of delivery.
  2. Provide your order number, product details, and reason for return/exchange.
  3. Our team will guide you with the return shipping process.

🚚 Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping charges unless the product received is defective or incorrect.
  • In case of a defective/damaged product, we will arrange a free reverse pickup.

💳 Refunds

  • Refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days after we receive the returned saree.
  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method (Credit/Debit Card, UPI, Net Banking, Wallet, etc.).
  • For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds will be issued via bank transfer or store credit.

🔁 Exchange

  • Exchanges are allowed for the same value or higher value saree (price difference to be paid by the customer).
  • If the requested product is unavailable, we will issue a store credit or refund.

⚠️ Important Notes

  • Minor weaving irregularities, zari thread variations, and slight color differences may occur due to handloom weaving and lighting in photography. These are not considered defects.
  • Please ensure proper care and dry cleaning only for Banarasi sarees.
